Wednesday Night Workout: Zumba!
I look forward to the middle of the week because I have awesome Zumba classes on Wednesday and Thursday — I always sweat my booty off! And isn’t it fun to workout when you’re actually having a fun party!?
I’m pretty shy in class, but I stayed after a little while to give thanks for an incredible workout and to request a new song/routine for one of my fave Zumba songs — El Teke Teke by Crazy Design!
This song is fast and I know the routine my instructor comes up with is going to be killer!
Can’t wait until she begins to incorporate it into her class! 😀

My post workout meal — this is starting to become my fave time of the day — teriyaki style chicken and veggies with rice. Richef is talented at making delicious meals. How healthy teriyaki sauce is, I dunno… But I LOVE home cooked meals made from the heart. 🙂
Hump Day Motivation
It’s Wednesday and like many people, I need some Hump Day Motivation! My motivation for my new fit lifestyle is Trainer J! He is so strong! Look at all those muscles! When Trainer J goes to the gym, he focuses primarily on arms — but his arm day still consists of 100 pull ups!

I had an awesome workout session with my fitspirational friend, Jess, this past Saturday! We attacked the steps in Culver City —Â Baldwin Hills Scenic Overlook. We did not count the steps, nor did we time ourselves. But we got a nice little outdoor workout in and since we both go to the gym, doing some fitness activity was definitely a nice change in scenery.

I felt pretty lazy, but Jess pushed me and we hiked those stairs not once, not twice, but three times! It’s good to workout with someone who is going to challenge you. I believe when we come back, she may want to go up the stairs five times!

The best part about these steps? The beautiful view at the top (even with the smoggy L.A. air)…

My legs are sore, yet I still look forward to going back!
